- What is BanKO Tipid Remit?
BanKO Tipid Remit is BPI BanKO’s over-the-counter (OTC) domestic remittance service available at participating BPOs. Anyone can avail of this service over-the-counter, at participating BPOs. Customers may remit ₱50.00 – ₱50,000.00 at a time, at their nearest participating BPO. Only customers sending money will be charged the flat fee of 3% for any amount sent (₱50.00 – ₱50,000.00 per transaction).

- Is there a minimum or maximum amount for BanKO Tipid Remit?
Customers may remit ₱50.00 – ₱50,000.00 at a time, at their nearest participating BPO.
- Do I need to have a BanKO account to avail of BanKO Tipid Remit service?
For BanKO Tipid Remit, there is no need to become a BanKO account holder. Anyone can send and receive domestic remittance over the counter at participating BanKO partner outlets.
- Do I need to have a Globe Postpaid/prepaid to avail of BanKO Tipid Remit services?
No need. If you are sending or receiving domestic remittance over the counter through participating partner outlets, you can still do so without a Globe/TM account, as the BPO partner agent will perform the remittance transaction over BanKO’s mobile USSD menu and provide sender/receiver with receipt and reference number.
- What is the procedure for sending and claiming over-the-counter (OTC) remittance at participating BPOs?
Sender:
1) Visit participating BPO. |
2) Fill out BanKO Tipid Remit Transaction Form, and present valid ID. |
3) Advise receiver to claim the remittance from any nearby participating BanKO Partner Outlet |
Receiver:
1) Visit participating BPO to claim remittance |
2) Fill out BanKO Tipid Remit Transaction Form, and present valid ID. |
- How long will it take for my domestic remittance transaction to be processed?
Your domestic remittance transaction will occur immediately.
- Is there a time frame the receiver may collect the remittance amount from a participating BPO?
The time frame is 1 year from the date of transaction. Otherwise, the sender may also withdraw the remitted amount if ever the receiver cannot do so, within the 1 year time period from date of initial remittance transaction.
